Today Nic and I went up Little Cottonwood and went snowboarding in the backcountry. I had so much fun. I haven't been snowboarding for over a year. Nic took me somewhere pretty mellow so I could handle the hike. I definetly felt like I earned my turns. It was a great day. Casey and Lily had a great time and Papa and Bebe's house. Thank you Mom and Dad!

So Happy Together....

I know, I know, I can't believe it's been 6 months since my last post. I'm pathetic. I feel like since I started back to work I haven't been myself lately. I absolutely love being a mom and I love being a teacher. But I have to be honest... It sure is hard to be a working mom. Lily was sick this week with a high fever so Nic and I had to figure out how one of us could stay home with her. I had to go to work and I was feeling sooo guilty. I felt like a horrible mom. I had a horrible week at work because I just wanted to be home with my kids. Now that it is the weekend I know I can face another week at work. I wish I could be home with my kids but I know that if I didn't work I would miss being a teacher. O.K., sorry I went off on that little tangent. I was just trying to explain why I haven't been able to post. When I get home from work I am so busy with the kids and then by 9:00 I am fast asleep. Now that Lily is getting a little more independent I feel like I can do my own things a little more. This week I looked at everyone's blog's and it made me so happy. I realized I need to keep my blog updated because just looking at your blog's made me feel so good. I love you all so much!
Well, I didn't intend to go off like that. I wanted to share some of the cute pictures of Casey and Lily together. Lily is now crawling and she loves her big brother so much. I can't believe she will be one year next month. Casey is such a good big brother. He is so funny. He always wants to be naked. The second he walks in the door when he gets home from day care he starts stripping down to his diaper. I can't blame him. I admit that the second I get in the door I change into my pajamas.
